Positions Available

Swing/SWT Developer

Genuitec is seeking an Eclipse plugin developer with expert knowledge of the integration of Swing UI components on SWT. This candidate will work as part of the MyEclipse plugin development team in the creation of new innovative developer tools. This position is open to full-time and contract candidates. Relocation is not required.

Eclipse/WebSphere Developer

We are seeking full-time and contract Eclipse plugin developers with strong J2EE and WebSphere backgrounds to serve with our new globally distributed MyEclipse Blue Edition team. Requirements:

Excellent working knowledge of WebSphere versions 5 - 6.1
Minimum 2 years profession Eclipse plugin development experience
Excellent working knowledge of Rational Application Developer tools

Sr. Eclipse Developer - Full time or contract opportunities
Requirements:

Must demonstrate expert knowledge of the Eclipse plugin model and frameworks and provide an Eclipse-based product/project with references
Expert skills in at least 2 of the following Eclipse areas:
- JFaces/SWT/SWT_AWT integration
- JDT and Debugger frameworks
- WTP
- GEF
- EMF
- UML2
Expert skills required in at least 2 of the following areas:
- User interface design and implementation with SWT/JFace, Swing expertise a plus
- Web Design (HTML, DHTML, Javascript, CSS, Struts, JSF)
- Java EE/J2EE architecture, patterns, application servers and deployment, and alternative technologies such as Spring
- Database and ORM (Hibernate) development
- UML and MDA
- OSGI, security, and services
- Microsoft .Net/COM/ActiveX development and Eclipse integration
English language competency, both written and verbal
