Hi

If I highlight some text, then press ctrl+d it used to delete the section correctly then put the cursor to the start of the deleted area. Now the selected area just stay blue instead going back to the start of the line as it originally did.

To re-create:
– go half way down some code in a page (doesn’t happen at the top of the page due to space i guess?)
– drag the cursor over a couple of lines (maybe from a few words in to the sentence / code) or so – notice the blue area selected
– press ctrl+d
– the section of code gets deleted but the highlight remains and is now covering the shifted up code.

I don’t think this is intentional?

Just a small issue but keeps happening and thought you should be aware.

Thank you for the detailed steps and the screenshots. I could replicate the behavior at my end but inconsistently.
I have filed a bug for the dev team to look into it. We will keep you posted about the fix schedule.
