Since I can’t install the Drools plugin… what CAN I do to at least get MyEclipse to recognize DRL files and format them properly (as in not treat them as plain text files with no syntax recognition or highlights)? Thanks!!

    Hi,

Which version of MyEclipse are you working with? You can install Drools (minus the JBoss Drools Runtime Detector) to latest MyEclipse 2021.
I installed it using this update site : https://download.jboss.org/drools/release/7.48.0.Final/org.drools.updatesite and I could create a Drools project successfully and the *.drl files open with Rule Editor. Please give it a try.

Do let us know if you see any issues with it.
