    Hello,

I face troubles using a Java Project developed by one of my colleague :

I import the project. When I run some specific functions, I get an error message in the console. The error message contains troubles with French characters. Exemple :
ERROR: ‘Le nom de l’identitxE9 doit immxE9diatement suivre le caractxE8re “&” dans la rxE9fxE9rence

It seems that there is an encoding configuration trouble. I went In Preferences and I change all the encoding default parameters to UTF-8 where there was something different selected. I let the blank default parameters to blank.

There was no evolution. I still face the same strange error messages.
I made a test on a Windows 10 install : I don’t have theses differences in the error message.

How can I solve those encoding troubles ?

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Best regards,

    My installation parameters :
    MyEclipse Enterprise Workbench

    Version: CI 2018.9.0
    Build id: 16.0.0-20180903

    Os configuration :
    MacOs Mojave – 10.14.2 (18C54)

    sylvainmaisonhaute,

Sorry that you are seeing this issue.

    1. Is this the first time you are working with the french characters in a project? What exact functions are you invoking on the project?

    2. Can you please share with us the zipped project to help us take a look?

    3. Also share with us the workspace log file by clicking on the icon for ‘Export Log’ in the Error Log view.
