The server view in MyEclipse 2017 has an item “Angular CLI”. How can I remove it? It’s not possible to remove it via the hide embedded servers option.

    Lofi,

You can customize the Servers view to not show the Angular CLI server. Select ‘Customize View’ from the Servers view’s pull down menu, switch to the Content tab and uncheck ‘Servers for Node.js Projects’.
Attached is the screenshot for your reference.

Hope this helps. Please let us know if you have any questions.

Worked for me, too, but it would be better if the option wasn’t so well hidden.
How about right-clicking on the Angular entry and having a “Hide me” option?
And having two different ways to get rid of Derby vs Angular, when they both show up uninvited is annoying.

    Dwight,

I have filed an enhancement request to support hiding the Angular CLI server easily.
Thank you for raising it. Let us know if you see any issues.

    Dwight/Lofi,

The latest update to MyEclipse 2017 CI, CI 2 includes the ability to hide Angular CLI server easily from the Servers view. Attached is the screenshot for your reference. Click on ‘Show Angular CLI Servers’ to show/hide it in the Servers view.

Please update to CI 2 from Help > Check for Updates and let us know if you see any issues.

I updated to CI 2; love the new Server view drop-down with the Show selections for Tomcat/Derby/Angular — all in one place and convenient!
    Thanks!
