In the Admin Console there is a warning that says “You are using 338 out of 300 licenses, add more licenses” We do not currently have that many users using an Eclipse package. How do the licenses work exactly? If a user downloaded a package and used it once years ago but is still on their machine does it count against the license usage? Also if a user downloads and uses 4 packages, does that count as 4 licenses, or just 1?

    Hey,

My apologies for the response times, here is the information about license count.

Having 4 or 40 packages on the same system will only count once. If you are not using authenticated packages, we are using the user ID on the system as part of the calculation so if you use on a test VM a package as well under “randomuser123” and “bob”, you could count as twice despite being a single user.

A single developer can use it on up to 3 systems, as long as a user ID matches.

I hope you find this information useful

    Best Regards
    Ignacio
