I have just upgraded to MyEclipse 5.0 and can’t find a way to turn on the line numbers in the sql editor. It used to be in preferences – MyEclipse – Common Editor Preferences and there was a check box to turn on line numbers. Now all I can find is the one under preferences – Editors – Text Editors but this only turns on line numbers in the Java editors not the SQL editor.

This is really annoying because when you are using an sql file with lots of statements you used to be able to click on the line number to select that row then run the statement without the line numbers you have to manually select the whole line.

Is this a bug or have you just moved the checkbox somewhere?

After some digging it seems this is a bug, I’ll go ahead and file it.
