What is the size of the file that you have downloaded? Does the size of the file downloaded match the size mentioned on the download page ?

Sounds like your installer is corrupt. You might have to redownload the file.

… Size is different.

MD5 (MyEclipse_6.5M1.exe) = 173f62ce06f2fd5ae1d0bb612e5ade25
… But, MD5 is good.

Is it ok ?

I tried, but Everything is same.

It is problem of InstallShield on japanese environment WindowsXP ?
In internet, Somebody reports near_case_problem on install some_program
(not MyEclipse, not Eclipse ).

Can you try setting up Eclipse 3.3 separately and then try setting up MyEclipse 6.5 M1 using the plugin installer over Eclipse 3.3. Make sure you check that Eclipse works fine before setting up MyEclipse. Hope that helps.

Can you tell me how to get MyEclipse 6.5M1 plug-in package ?

I clean-installed Eclipse3.3 classic again,
and extended MyEclipse_6.5M1_UpdateSite.zip on Eclipse3.3.
Eclipse3.3+MyEclipse_6.5M1 seems working well.
But on terminate, shown dialog …

The original problem was install problem.
MyEclipse6.5M1 is milestone release.
Then I don’t worry about this problem so much.
But I worry about this problem occur on 6.5 GA Release in the future.
I hope it is not so …

‘Basic Proposals’ category is disabled already.

Can you switch to a new workspace, and check if you get this same message dialog when you close MyEclipse?

I haven’t had any other user report this but you can be rest assured that the 6.5 GA would be a more throughly tested release compared to the milestone release.

OK ! Using new workspace, the problem was vanished !
