Hello everyone! Here is the recap of our #GenuitecChat about GapDebug in case you couldn't join us.

Good morning and afternoon! Welcome today's twitter chat on @GapDebug As always, follow along with #genuitecchat and send in your Qs. Joining us from the @GapDebug team, we have @wayne_parrott - Wayne, mind introducing yourself?

@wayne_parrott - I'm the @GapDebug project mgr and developer on the team.

Q1 To get us started, mind telling us a little about @GapDebug and what it brings to #Android and #iOS app development?

A1 @GapDebug is a free #crossplatform debugger for #cordova #iOS and #Android applications. Recent updates incl app mgmt supt.

A1 brief history of @GapDebug (rel 1.0, oct ‘14), updated approx every 6-8 weeks, free contrib to community

A1 We introd’ @GapDebug 1.0 at #PhoneGap Days in San Fran last fall & have had good developer acceptance.

Q2 Why use @GapDebug vs other debugging tools that are out there for #PhoneGap or #Cordova?

A2. @GapDebug is simple turn-key debugging but incl's automation for quick debugging + app install & launch #debug #ios

Q3 What’s new with @GapDebug since our last #genuitecchat?

A3 The @GapDebug dev team continues to research and expand the mobile device mgmt services. #appmgmt

A3 We are close to supt’n the full app testing #lifecycle: app install, launch, debug, update, shutdown, uninstall #appmgmt

Q4 If I have a question or problem using @GapDebug, how do I get help? #ios #android #debug

A4.You can contact the @GapDebug dev team on our forum http://qub.me/d9xQT0  or here on twitter

Q5 Someone recently asked if @GapDebug can be used to #debug #ionicframework apps?

A5 Absolutely, @GapDebug is able to debug any hybrid-mobile app on #iOS & #Android including cross-walk apps @xwalk_project

Q6 Can @GapDebug debug #Cordova plugins?

A6 Yes, but let me qualify that @GapDebug is limited to debugging the JS interface of a #cordova plugin

A6 I’ll add that I rec used @GapDebug in concert with #XCode for dev & debugging an #iOS plugin

A6. The @GapDebug #instant-debug feature makes it so much better than using #Safari #webkit inspector

Q7 Will @GapDebug work with the upcoming #iOS9 & #OSX #ElCapitan?

A7 We plan to start early testing after the next @GapDebug update. Will post updates as soon as we know more. #osx #elcapitan

Q8 When is the next @GapDebug update planned?

A8 The next @GapDebug update is planned for early next week. Finishing up some cool new features. #debugging

Q9 What cool features specifically do you have in the works for @GapDebug?

A9 look for new device snapshot, syslog view, restart & #iOS & #Android app launching

A9 Automatic app launch-after-install + #instant-debugging is way cool. Gets immediately into #debugging context.

Excellent! That covers the questions sent in advance! So let's end with an open question: #genuitecchat

While you take time to think of your big feature for @GapDebug, we're going to wrap up the official part of the #genuitecchat today

Thank you for taking time to retweet what interests you most -- helps us know what matters to you! #genuitecchat
