Update: Development of GapDebug has been discontinued. Read the End of Life Notice for more information.
If you were thinking that the ‘always free’ GapDebug couldn’t get any cooler or easier to use, you were wrong. If you were thinking you’d have to wait around to start debugging iOS 8 apps, well, you’d be wrong again.
And we couldn’t possibly be more ecstatic about it! Releasing today is GapDebug EA 4.
This release is already proving to be one of epic proportions. Already, over 4 million pre-orders of the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus have been made. Add that to last year's data of 200 million users updating their iOS in the first 3 days, and you've got a seriously hot release! So not only do you have to get your apps optimized for iOS 8, but you’ve got to do so with all haste. Eek! With the latest build of GapDebug you can start instantly debugging iPhone and iPad apps optimized for iOS 8. Start developing with all 4,000 of the new APIs and rely on GapDebug to have your back with continuous debugging today. No wait. Just plug and debug.
And because we don't want our beloved Android developers to feel left out, we have a special treat just for you!
While still in an experimental phase, Android users can play with a new collaborative, remote debugging feature! This bonus feature allows users to debug a connected device from anywhere it is hooked up to on the web. Regardless of location, users can connect with team members or customers to provide debugging assistance on apps.
That's a wrap for now, but rest assured we have many awesome new things coming to GapDebug! Stay turned to the @GapDebug twitter feed for the latest developments.
