Using the Dashboard to Jump Start Projects
The MyEclipse Dashboard view gives you a jump start on new projects. You can find quick links to new project wizards, project import, projects in source control, and relevant help topics. Click the tab that corresponds to the type of project you want to create to find links relevant to that project type.
The Dashboard view opens automatically in the MyEclipse perspective. To disable the dashboard at startup, select the Don't show this dashboard again on startup checkbox at the bottom of the Dashboard view. Use the Open Dashboard icon on the main toolbar to open the MyEclipse Dashboard.
The Dashboard also gives you access to other tools and information. The Learning Center provides categorized and searchable help (starting in MyEclipse 2015 CI 7 and later). Examples on Demand lets you install various types of sample projects for learning some of the technologies in MyEclipse.
To find out what's new in a given MyEclipse release, check the Delivery Log tab. A summary of new features and fixes for each release is listed in the Delivery Log.
