Prerequisites

To get started with Copilot4Eclipse, you will need:

• An Eclipse IDE or Eclipse-based product based on Eclipse 4.28 (2023-12 release) or a more recent version.
• A GitHub Copilot subscription or Business
• Compatible Operating Systems
  • Windows 11 or 10
  • Mac OS
  • Linux All OS versions must support Node 20 or greater
• When operating within a secure network environment please be aware of the following network access and security settings that can effect the download and operation of the Copilot4Eclipse plugin:
  • Firewall & Network Settings
  • Eclipse Java Runtime Settings

tip

MyEclipse 2023.1 is not compatible with Copilot4Eclipse 1.2 or greater.

MyEclipse 2024 is (and will remain) fully compatible with all Copilot4Eclipse features and releases.
