    @varadh @albin

    Is your request related to @albin http://www.genuitec.com/support-genuitec/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=2644 as you both requested SAP service integration assistance?

    Development of SAP integration examples and tutorials was assigned to us this week to begin investigating. Thus your request is timed perfectly. Can you and @albin contact me (wayne) by email at support dot genuitec dot com.
    Please send me your contact info in an email with title “SAP integration interest”. I’ll get back to you early next week once I hear from you.

    all,

    I replied to some of you by email to kick off a discussion about the integration details. I have developed web service solutions and can provide guidance once we understand the SAP interfacing requirements (identity, security, interfaces, protocol(s)…). But we don’t have an SAP system to develop examples against. Feel free to share public details or to send email to the address provided in my 1st post.

    Wayne,

    Can you please update on this one? I also sent an email to you last week. We need to finalize the approach this week. Thanks

    Regards

    @traja

    The status has been slow. I’ve been balancing time with many other cases and learning about interfacing with sap services as well as 2 other major systems for other users. I will update when I have made a bit more real progress.

    Thanks for Responding. Do you need the SAP System access or you already got one?

    Do you have any anticipated timeline you are targeting for?

    Because of the size of SAP I’m approaching this project in 2 phases. The first is to use the NetWeaver Gateway found on the SAP Dev Network. It provides read-only access which is sufficient for just getting started. In a later phase I anticipate that I will need write access.

    @albin

    I wear multiple hats. I have been heavily involved in MobiOne 2.0 release preparation. This version is rolling out this week. I will resume the SAP investigation as soon as 2.0 ships.
