Is it possible to add a search bar to an iOS screen using MobiOne similar to the attached image?

    Hi rojaan,

At this time MobiOne does not provide a search widget but we are gathering requirements. Can you share the type of search you wish to perform and how you envision the results being presented.

As a workaround if you have your own search service implementation you can use an inputField widget and javascript to manually invoke a query and process the results with custom formatting.

    Hi,
I have several requirements for searching, however at this point in time I just wanted to know if you were able to supply a widget or whether you could let me know how I can construct the ‘standard’ iOs search bar.
    Kind regards.

We have not yet implemented a search widget yet. The reason is because it has a wide open scope and means something different to each person that we discuss it with. The different type of searches we have been investigating for automation include filtering long lists of data on the device, smart filter of remote content, and unstructured search on server-side, … The workflow is involves (1) reading the user’s search query, (2) processing the query (on device or remote service) to produce results list, and (3) displaying results list.
