    Hi all,

I’m new here so a few words about myself: I’m an experienced Software Engineer, but new to JavaScript and libraries such as jQuery and very new to MobiOne (just two days into my trial period).

I’m attempting to develop a Bridge Scoring App (eventually for an iPad) and have selected to use the multipage widget for the task.

The homepage, ‘Players’, prompts the user to enter the four players’ names and then utilises the On Page Changing event to transfer these names to various places on the other pages. This works well for simple widgets such as text fields, but I hit a strange snag when attempting to repopulate a combo box.

The combo box at design time contains the values: (played by), N, E, S, W and the intent of the code is to change this to: (played by), N – Nname, E – Ename etc.. The effect of the code is to half work! When the combo box is clicked the choices presented are exactly as set at design time (wrong), but once a selection is made the correct altered text is displayed in the combo box. How do I achieve the full desired effect? The code for the function invoked by the On Page Changing event follows in the next post as I seem to have problems posting with embedded code.

    Thanks in advance.

I have repeatedly failed miserably to include the code – so here it is as an attachment (I hope)
