    I am.

    >Why nobody responds to my posts?

I’ll be direct. The way you ask this question seems that you probably lack the experience and expertise to implement a real solution. See my expanded follow up here on one of your other post complaints: http://www.genuitec.com/support-genuitec/viewtopic.php?p=20849#p20849
Please follow up if you are an exception and have a web service interface to your database and we can share some how-to’s with you.

    My Dear Wayne

Rather than keep thinking that your client is unable to create a real application.

You should take care to help me resolve the issues I have raised.

I have enough experience in software development and have several business applications running smoothly in the Android platform with the local database.

I’m really not an expert in web applications.

    And no desire to be.

When I bought the tool MobiOne was not thought could do projects for iOS the same way you do in Java for Android, with local operation of the database.

You is not talking with a curious or novice in the field of programming.

Please have more respect with your customer and not jump to conclusions.

Why did you not answer my post from September 19 until today?

    Master Wayne,

Connoisseur of the art of web programming.

See the link below of our products made in the android platform.

Running for more than 400 users.

Working with the local database on the mobile device.

Updating data via FTP or HTTP and to dowload pictures and videos.

Watch until the end and see if we can not create a real application.

Honestly I was fooled by your company.

    Super-Wayne.

Apologies if I offended you – it is generally not my style. I did make some assumptions and that is always a receipt for someone to reciprocate and make their misjudgements.

    >When I bought the tool MobiOne was not thought could do projects for iOS the same way you do in Java for Android, with local operation of the database.

Ocatavio asked me to gen up an example and tutorial on how to do this. See my preliminary example here (just posted it): http://www.genuitec.com/support-genuitec/viewtopic.php?f=14&t=6217&p=20854#p20854

The delay was my fault as I started a write-up and also created a shared a utility for populating lists from a data source with a few lines of javascript code. I’ll be sharing more details on this and other utilities that I have been working to simplify app customization.

Now to your question about how to connect to a MySQL data. The first step is to tell us about your server side infrastructure where your mysql database resides. What web service apis do you have available for interacting with the database?

With the web service apis the process to interface with them is a classic ajax call – we can provide examples that demonstrate how to do this. Also the websql example I just posted illustrates how to populate a list widget with results. Is this moving in the right direction? Please advise…

    Yes

    That’s right.

I’ll make my Mysql database in the provider to create the connection, as your suggestion.

Now I’m beginning to think that the support is working.

Thank you for the information so far.

I was wrong in my last post.

Support besides being flawed, sent me a example that simply does not work.

Will have someone with sufficient competence to create an example that works.

I am seriously considering quitting this tool.

Please elaborate. Are you referring to the preliminary list-db example I posted yesterday or something else? I added a few more details later in the day on the list-db example including a short screencast of the app running on an iphone5/ios7.

If there is an issue please provide a problem report with enough details that we can assist such as the version of mobione, your test environment (device, os, browser version…). There are many variables.

I refer to what you posted yesterday.

It did not work and your video Screencast also not run.

I think his example had to just work.

If he ran from it I could create some relatorio return with errors.

But it simply does not work.

A simple thing to do in 5 minutes using Java on Android and I’m trying to MobiOne days.

The example runs except it is duplicating when adding a new item. The video also ran fine when I viewed it.

Accessing MySQL. You need to have the php script on a server that your MobiOne apps points too.

This is really not much more different than a web app in a browser getting the html entries and passing it to the php to perform the CRUD items. View your main html that is generated by MobiOne. Run it in a browser on your PC to see how it interacts. I create a php file separate for my updates, save and delete routines (old school).

What Wayne has provided is a nice example. Yes it does duplicate each new item, but all else seemed to work.

But for MySQL you need to have the JSON & PHP for this to work. Here is an older post showing how I do this with MobiOne.

    Cheers…
