When an app is set for caching, and it is accessed via Safari and bookmarked AND and icon is added to the home screen, rather than opening as an “app screen,” how can the opening screen be “forced” to open in the Safari (or any) browser window?
The manner of the content in this app makes it convenient to have several “screens” open as html pages in a browser with tabs.
How can we force that to happen?
If you uncheck the “Enable full-screen mode” (Window>Settings>HTML Generation>iOS) preference then code-generation will enable the buttonbar to be visible. The addressbar is hidden by default on the iphone but can be made viisble just by tapping the iOS statusbar. See attached image: See attachment IMG_26042013_164950.png

We will check the app on Monday.
Our iPad functions perfectly (NC), but two iPads at client location (NYC) do not open the app in the Safari browser.
FYI.
We are operating this as a “Web App,” not a native iOS app.
From the StartPage, which is an image, there is a link to a navigation screen – which should open in the Safari browser from the icon on the Home Screen and in “Airplane Mode” to simulate no wifi available.
By default, the client would like the web app to open the State Page in the Safari browser, rather than full-screen app view.
