I uninstalled 3.8Beta and attempted to install 3.8GA but the installer refused to accept my Eclipse 3.0 directory so I could not proceed. My work around was to do a manual install. FYI, the manual instructins are outdated…after making the “link” document nothing else was needed…Eclipse 3.0.0 didn’t even display the “Pending Configuration Changes” screen and all appears to be working.

What is the Build ID (Help > About) of the Eclipse install you are trying to install against?

Build ID 200406251208I spoke too soon….after shutting down and restarting at a later date my JSP editor (MyEclipse or default) editor would not open…I ended up installing eclipse clean then the MyEclipse installer worked. hmmmm.
