I have also tested starting the select list items unchecked and the result was successful too. Instead of sending the final apk/ipa file(s), please send us the .mobi files and related additional files to that project.
I may have misled you slightly here, the actual selections on the selectListItems themselves are being de-selected ok when I activate the JS code (ticks going and color changes back) but the items are not being removed from a summary page which shows the selected items in a textarea. This is what I want to achieve and was working ok in previous versions of Android.
