Hi, i’ve a strange problem. When I start Eclipse, they start always with a wrong workspace. I’ve to change workspace from File –> Switch Workspace and wait for an Eclipse restart. Is there some way to fix workspace? Sorry for my bad english, Francesco

You need to unset the preference at Window > Preferences > General > Startup and Shutdown > Prompt for workspace on startup.

Then, when you restart pick the “correct” workspace and ask Eclipse to remember that in the prompt dialog.

Hi Scott,
I’ve tryed before to do what you written, but nothing happens. Never more Eclipse asks to me the ‘default’ workspace. I’ve always to change it in File > Switch Workspace, then, restarting Eclipse, all become normale.

You can also set the workspace location by using the -data option like this:

eclipse.exe -data <path-to-workspace>

Perhaps you’re already passing that and didn’t realize it?
