Another question from someone coming from a JBuilder background.

Is it possible to specify a different commit comment for each file when committing from the team synchronize perspective? Without separately committing each file?

It would be good to be able to right-click on the project and choose commit, then be able to enter a separate comment for each file in the commit list if I need to.

    Is this possible?
    If so how?

    Adam,

Great question. I’ve wanted this occasionally but I don’t think it’s possible. My workaround was to simply set MyEclipse to mark which files had been modified locally by annotating them in the Package Explorer using Window > Preferences > General > Appearance > Label Decorations > CVS. Then I just grab sets of the modified files I want to commit with the same content and commit them as a group or two. Not quite like stepping through and being prompted for each file, but usually I only have a couple of different comments so it works well for me.
