I have problems in installing MyEclipse 4.0.3 (I already installed eclipse 3.1) on a Windows machine (XP PRO).

basically once the installer arrive at the point of pre-installation summary, I click on the install button and the installer stay up for ever. I checked the processes and its still running but now is more than 45 minutes……

I deleted the downloaded file, downloaded again but I have the same problem .

Any suggestions..

I’m sorry to hear you’re having a problem with the installer.
The problem is likely due to the installer selecting an incompatible JRE to
run with. Rather than trying to figure out specifically what’s wrong, the
fastest way to a working installation is to simply download and install
using the manual installation archive that’s also available in the downloads
section of the website. Manual installation instructions are available on
the portal here:
