    abtrapp, XP w/ SP2 was included in our machines for QA and we havent seen any issues on a default install. The problem is because of a subsequent (usually major – new dll’s etc) system modification due to beta (or not) s/w.

    Thank you for the fast answer. I found a way around this problem: Open with -> MyEclipse ‘Classic’ JSP Editor. As far as I can see from the first minutes it works fine (including preview).

    God. To all who can not open jsp’s: Forget the ‘Classic’ editor. With this editor I can only produce nice “Save could not be completed. Reason: Has been changed on the file system” errors. I thin I will move this piece of superb software to /dev/null…

    Any JSP editor that works in MyEclipse?

    Can you please post all the information we request [URL=http://www.myeclipseide.com/PNphpBB2+file-viewtopic-t-393.html]here[/URL]. Also are you opening the file externally? Is your workspace on a shared n/w mount? If so, can you right click the project & refresh the first time before opening the JSP and see if that works for you?

    It’s definately not a Windows XP SP2 issue as that is what all of our development machines run and we have no problems internally.

    I am working on a local drive (eclipse, plugin, workspace). The problems with the classic editor only seem to occur if I refacture/rename a file already opened in the editor. Apart from that it seems to work.
