Hi, I’m using MyEcipse 5.5.1 and develop web applications for tomcat servers. MyEclipse is great, but I can’t get the detail formatter to work. I can define detail formatters for different classes, but somehow it doesn’t work in debug mode.

Any help would be gladly appreciated!

    Michael,
I haven’t worked with the Detail Formatter so I’m not sure how you can get it to work with MyEclipse. The other users on the forum would be able to help you out with this.

It doesn’t seem to work for me either.

I can add or edit a detail formatter on any type but MyEclipse still displays the type using the default toString(). Don’t know if it works with Eclipse.

    florianf,

I could get it working on MyEclipse 2013.
    I followed this example: http://www.javalobby.org/java/forums/t16350.html

Let us know how it works for you.
