The app displays a PDF document (URL link) as a cached document.

The email listing in the PDF document activate the email program when tapped.

What needs to be done to get the phone (not the pad), to open the phone dialer to the number in the PDF when tapped?

What code is needed for the PDF item to be a tap-link to open the phone’s dialer and give the user the option to initiate the call to that number?

Have you tried use the tel url scheme in your links? ( <a href=”tel:<number>”>Call us</a> )
on IOS I expect that it will open the dialer with the number prepopulated. The user simply has to hit dial or cancel.

It works in the pdf document as per above.

We started with the list in Excel and then “saved as” a pdf document.

It did not work when the pdf document was generated via “print” within Excel.
