I have just installed MyEclipse 3.8.2 (new install) on Mandrake 9.1 and I am unable to find the preference setting to use spaces instead of tabs whilst editing jsp files or java script.

Window > Prefs > MyEclipse > Editors > Comman Settings > “Use space instead of tab”

Full implementation for all editors for this feature will be in 3.8.3.

I think I answered this post a day after I installed the RC build for 3.8.3, sorry for the confusion.
