I am trying to deploy an EAR exploded application in WL8.1. This EAR has dependent EJB and WEB projects that get deployed in the weblogic application folder, but without the EJB stubs and XML descriptors.
I can create a packaged EAR and use the weblogic.ejbc to generate a weblogic EJB jar that has the stubs and XML descriptors.
But I need to be able to do that with an exploded application.
So, Is there a feature in MyEclipse that can help in this? or XDoclet options, or maybe there is a feature in weblogic that can be triggered at deployment to do this?

I’m running on XP with JRocket 1.4, WL8.1, and MyEclipse 4.0M2.

    Thanks,

The easy way to do this is to forget about weblogic.ejbc and the stubs as the server will generate them automatically when you deploy without them. As for the descriptors, those can be generated with XDoclet as illustrated in the EJB Development quickstart in the documentation section here: http://www.myeclipseide.com/ContentExpress-display-ceid-67.html
