Hi,

how can I exclude a file from validation? I can’t see this feature in any menu..

For a specific folder or file, right-click on the resource in the Package Explorer and select Properties. Turn on the ‘Derived’ flag and the validators will ignore the file. You’ll also need to select MyEclipse > Remove Validation Markers on the resource as well to clear any current errors.

but which is, generally, the meaning of “derived” property? This property was presented also in old version of eclipse/ME…
