    Hi,

I tried two different types of installs of the MyEclipse. I initially started with installing Eclipse and MyEclipse (both clean downloads) separately. MyEclipse refused to load (but the normal eclipse IDE still did) and would just flash a bunch of generic error pop-ups when any JSP, XML, etc was loaded.

So, I decided to try the all-in-one install. Upon completion, when I try to execute the program for the first time, the following error appears (keeping in mind I’ve tried JRE 1.5 and 1.6 as my default java environment): “The Eclipse executable launcher was unable to locate its companion launcher jar”, with an OK button at the bottom. I don’t see any log information.

Also, I did notice there is an eclipse directory under <MyEclipse Home> as well as <MyEclipse Home>/eclipse.

    System information:
    OS: Windows XP SP 2
    Processor: intel core duo, 32-bit
    Java: 1.5/1.6
MyEclipse: Latest binary (as of 7/31/07)

    Thanks.

What version of Eclipse did you try installing MyEclipse with ?

When you used the Full Stack installer, did you install it to a brand new location ?

Sorry about the late response. I was on vacation. Yes, I tried using a new location with the full stack installer.

Can you please make sure that the size of your Full Stack installer is same as the size mentioned on the download page. This sounds like the issue of a corrupt installer.
