    Hi there,

How do I go about changing the fonts used by MyEclipseIDE? The fonts used by the IDE are not those specified in my Eclipse preferences and I can’t seem to find the place where I can set it. Surely I’m not doomed to 10pt font size everything I want to work with Struts or an EJB, am I?

    Thanks,
    Darryl

    Darryl,
The editor just inherits the TextEditor font from the workbench setting IIRC… what Font are you trying to change that isn’t being reflected? Did you try closing and reopening the editors?

    Hi there,

I am using the latest version of MyEclipseIDE (3.8.4?) and 3.0.1 of Eclipse on Windows XP Professional. I have modified my Eclipse settings to display text using Courier New 8pt font and this works for the most part. But if I create a JSP page using MyEclipseIDE, for example, or modify a struts-config.xml file using MyEclipseIDE, the editors in question use Courier New 10pt. I want to change the size of the font but can’t seem to find a way to do so.

I am not sure that ‘IIRC’ is? You had mentioned it in your last letter. How do I access it?

    Thanks,
    Darryl

    Darryl,
When you say “I changed the font”, which font did you change? The Text Editor font? The Java Editor font? etc.

IIRC == if I remember correctly
