phenixhwangMemberI’m doing an IDE evaluation, including MyEclipse5.1 , Exadel 4 , JDeveloper10.1.3 , Java Studio Creator2.
Some days before, we had done another evaluation and decided to use JSF instead of ASP.net.
For our business need, we need provide a good UI ability. So, we wish the IDE can include rich enough JSF visual component. ADF and Infragistics for JSF both are such components we want to use.
I see MyEclipse includes JSF RI and MyFaces. But we don’t think it is enough to us.
Oracle commend their JDeveloper , which includes ADF and can use Infragistics for JSF.
In addition, Infragistics for JSF supports Java Studio Creator too.
I just want to know, whether can we use ADF or Infragistics for JSF in MyEclipse as a visual plugin. If the answer is true , how should we add it? (You know, all we need is WYSIWYG, not to write tag in editor)
phenixhwangMemberSorry , it should be NetAdvantage for JSF produced by Infragistics
support-jedKeymasterHi phenixhwang,
Most Eclipse plugins work very well with MyEclipse. However, we have not tried to integrate NetAdvantage for JSF. This is because we ship our own JSF WYSIWYG editor.
What about our WYSIWYG JSF designer does not fit your requirements? We are always looking to make ours better!
Thanks,
phenixhwangMemberThank your reply first.
Infragistics is well known on providing UI component. For improving the UI usbility, we need many rich UI component.
We know, one company can not do all. If you are interesting it, you can access the web site below
Netadvantage For JSF : http://java.samples.infragistics.com/NetAdvantage/JSF/2006.1/
So we wish, the IDE should have a capability that it can be compatiable with other excellent components or plugins.
In fact , I don’t think it is difficult for my eclipse to provide the function. -
