and I am getting this error
The WebLogic Server did not start up properly.

    ***************************************************************************

Here is my setup on the config
    BEA HOME : c:\Bea
    WebLogic installation directory : c:\Bea\weblogic81
    Admin username: xxxxx
    Admin password: xxxxxxxx
    Excution domain root: c:\Bea\user_projects\domains\platform
    Execution domain name: platform
    Execution server name: cgServer
    Hostname:portNumber: localhost:7001
    Security policy file: c:\Bea\weblogic81\server\lib\weblogic.policy

I don’t know why this setup won’t work.
I am new to weblogic server though.

Another question is where is my app deploy to?
In tomcat, it deploy to {tomcat}/webapp/myproject. Wonder according to this setup where is my app?

    Thanks for the help

Try changing your Execution domain root to just: C:\Bea\user_projects
