No, you can reuse the same cert/private key pair. For ad hoc deployment you must create a provision profile that list every device (upto 100 devices) by its UUID that you want to install your app on. This apple requirement makes it impossible to perform anonymous testing of your app or distribute it to a small but dynamic group of users where devices come and go frequently.
