I am trying to download MyEclipse 8.5. I accept the license agreement, click on 8.5, takes me to the next page, click on ALL-IN-ONE and then it hangs for sometime and come back with an error that the page cannot be displayed. Is there a problem downloading 8.5. Is there an alternate site where i can dowload from?

Are you on a slow network? Alternately you can try using pulse. You can also try using update site / archived update site on top of eclipse classic.
Mentioned below are steps to download ME 8.5 using pulse –
1. Open pulse. If you don’t have pulse, download from http://www.poweredbypulse.com
2. Login to pulse. You can also login anonymously
3. Select “Eclipse – Galileo” realm from top left hand corner dropdown
4. Expand and click on Ready to use Profiles > Popular.
5. From the right hand pane right click on “MyEclipse 8.5” and click on [run]
6. This will open a wizard which will guide you through the rest of the steps.
