Is M1 possible to configure to be able to drag and drop text of the listitem ?

I’m going to utilize List widget to my app.
Several tens listitems will be included to the List.
Each listitem has text that will be entered by a user.

I would like to configure my app to be able to drag the text of arbitrary Listitem and drop it to the other as user can move a text after rough edit.

I think I should give up DnD by the widget now.
Could you show the javascript code sample that make possible to drag and drop text?
