I downloaded the Multi Audio Source Demo from this post: http://www.genuitec.com/support-genuitec/viewtopic.php?f=14&t=2004&hilit=music
and I was playing around with it to see if I could use other radio streams because I have been trying to incorporate radio streams into my own app. However, every time I do it on my own app, I can only play the radio stream in a way that opens up the quicktime player, which means that I can’t do anything else on the iPod.
I noticed that if I access the Multi Audio Source Demo while the link is on Safari, the music played in the app can be played even if I close Safari down and the “Play” sign appears on the top right on the iPod next to the battery as if a song that was on my iPod was playing. On the other hand, if I save the link to the home screen so that I can access it as an app without Safari, I cannot listen to the music if I leave the specific page of the radio stream and I cannot listen to the music if I leave the app altogether.
Is there anyway to make it so that music can continue on MobiOne apps without the use of Safari? And is there some way to make these apps compatible with multitasking? Because I think that that would help to solve the issue that I am having.
