support-michaelKeymasterhi Daved,
Sorry to hear that your mobione-win8 installation is goof’n up.
1) what version of windows 8 are your running?
2) What anti-virus software are you running?
– Did you change or update your anti-virus software?3) from your previous feedback I assume you have completely uninstalled mobione and then reinstalled it?
– if not please uninstall mobione and then reinstall it. On the reinstallation please use the default location recommended by the installer. This reinstall process has fixed other win8 installation problems we have experienced as there is something goofy in the win8 updater.November 28, 2012 at 4:44 am #332787

support-michaelKeymasterThanks for your feedback and the recommended workaround. We are trying to understand what is goofed with win8 installs as we have user successfully installing 2.2.3 to win8 (met with user on win8 yesterday)…
Our team just tweaked the 2.2.3 installer. I would like to ask a favor of you. Would you try this new MobiOne 2.2.3a installer on your win8 system and share the result?
Here is a link to the installer:
http://genuitec.com/mobione/download.htmlPlease uninstall any current version of MobiOne before running this installer. The main change is a security setting.
