The trick is to find the correct top-level directory that represents the WebRoot of your project, then create a new deployment of type Custom Location, and format “Exploded” then point it at the directory that WAS is reading from. Which may be: C:\…….\WebSphere\AppServer\installedApps\Pc-ralfonso\WLS_HEAD_EAR.ear
