I am using javahl SVNKit 1.8.7 connector to connect to svn repository. I am unable to locate the configuration to display the author and revision number when using the team synchronization perspective in update mode. this info is necessary to review code changes. I discovered couple of threads from 2009 referring to the specific bug, but I could not find workarounds that applies to eclipse 4.4(luna) or myeclipse IDE.
I am looking for feedback from others with similar problems using MyEclipse 2015 or Eclipse Luna.

Sorry that you are seeing this issue.
Can you please check if enabling ‘Show all synchronization information in a resource’s text label’ setting from Window > Preferences > Team and see if it helps?
Go to Window->Preferences->General->Appearance->Label Decorations and make sure SVN is checked. Also, go to Window->Preferences->Team->SVN-> Label decorations and you will see the preview of the labels that should be displayed.
Please also cross post to Eclipse forums if the behavior is the same in Eclipse Luna to get suggestions from developer community.
