RonKoudijsMemberHello,
For MyEclipse 7.5 I’m having difficulties installing Crystal Reports for Eclipse 2.0.1.
After reading the februar 2009 topic: Crystal reports/Business object update issue with Myeclipse7, I’m wondering if somebody has found a complete solution yet?
I used dropins which does install most of the features, but not all.
Pulse has automaticly detected drop-ins added or removed from your configuaration. The following is a report of the software detected by Pulse.
The following software could not be provisioned:
com.businessobjects.integration.eclipse.feature.feature.group2.0.1.r566: missing iu
com.businessobjects.integration.eclipse.feature.nls1.feature.group[2.0.1.r566, 2.0.1.r566], iu

org.eclipse.datatools.connectivity.feature.group[1.6.0,2.0.0), iu
org.eclipse.wst.feature.group. [3.0.0,4.0.0)
support-joyMemberRonKoudijs,
MyEclipse currently doesn’t provide an integrated support for Crystal Reports. I have been trying to find a workaround with MyEclipse. It is a pretty round-about way. But I think you should be all set.
1) Download Eclipse SDK 3.4.1 with Crystal Reports from the following link
http://downloads.businessobjects.com/akdlm/crystalreportsforeclipse/2_0/cr4e-all-in-one-win_2.0.1.zip
2) Upgrade to Eclipse SDK 3.4.2 from Eclipse SDK 3.4.1
3) Add MyEclipse7.5 plugin from Eclipse SDK 3.4.2 using the following update site
http://downloads.myeclipseide.com/downloads/products/eworkbench/ganymede-latest/
RonKoudijsMemberHi,
I was already thinking of such an approach. I allready installed the 3.4.1 version with Crystal Reports. Can I just use the Eclipse Classic 3.4.2 download (see below) for the upgrade in step 2?
Could you also tell me how to perform this step 2?
All information on the net and with in the download zip file states; “Install the new version of Eclipse in a new location, separate from any old version of Eclipse. If you had installed additional features and plug-ins into your old Eclipse, you should re-install them in the new Eclipse.”
Thanks for your help,
Ron
support-joyMemberRon,
I would recommend you to update using the update site feature of Eclipse SDK. Please see attached screenshot.
