dtaborMemberI have been trying for several hours to configure an existing application checked out from subversion to run with a JBoss application server.
Tamara in sales sent me this thread:
Following that guidance, I only see servers for tomcat and derby at the dialog after
Window > Preferences > MyEclipse > Servers .Do I need to buy the full version before I get all the application server support? It only seems to support something called “Internal sandbox” at the moment.
If there’s something I’m missing, could you direct me on how to configure this IDE to deploy applications on a JBoss 6.1.0. server?
Thanks,

support-swapnaModeratorDave,
Sorry that you are seeing these issues. Users will have full access to all the features along with all the application servers in the 30 day trial period for MyEclipse.
Can you please give us some more information?
1. Can you please switch to a new workspace and check if you can see all the servers listed?
2. If the new workspace too does not list the servers, can you go to Window > Preferences > General > Capabilities and then press the Advanced button? Under MyEclipse Standard Tools you should see JBoss Server Support along with other servers support. If this is unchecked, the server might not appear in your server list. Could you tell us if this is the case in your installation? Simply check it and click OK / Apply to fix the problem.
3. If you are still seeing issues, please let us know how you have installed MyEclipse for Spring. Is it using the full offline installer or custom installer or Pulse?
4.Can you please try to download the offline installer once again, check if the file size and MD5 matches with the ones mentioned on the Downloads page and try to reinstall MyEclipse for Spring:
http://www.myeclipseide.com/index.php?name=Recommend_Us&req=Download&version=ME4S4. If you are still seeing issues, please attach the contents of the .log file which is located at <workspace dir>/.metadata/.log along with the MyEclipse for Spring installation details from MyEclipse > Installation Summary > Installation Details.
Let us know how it works for you.

==> No new servers were listed

==> I did this

==> full offline installer

http://www.myeclipseide.com/index.php?name=Recommend_Us&req=Download&version=ME4S==> The checksums do NOT match and I now notice that the MyEclipse 4 Spring 2013 SR2 is now MyEclipse 4 Spring SR2a. I am downloading now the latest version.
4. If you are still seeing issues, please attach the contents of the .log file which is located at <workspace dir>/.metadata/.log along with the MyEclipse for Spring installation details from MyEclipse > Installation Summary > Installation Details.
==> I am now installing the SR2a version. SHould I wipe out the prior installation first, or choose the “repair” option?
Thanks,

support-swapnaModeratorDave,
Apologies for missing out your reply. You can first try the repair option, switch to a new workspace and see if the issue exists. If the issue persists, please download the latest installer once again, check the MD5 and file size and install it to a new location. You can choose to uninstall the existing installation or install SR2 to a different location.
Sorry for the inconvenience caused. Let us know how it works for you.
