Weird I can’t reproduce this using CVS (don’t have a SVN repo handy to test but the ME code that executes is the same).Is it possible that under the EAR settings on your computer and your co-workers computer, one of you has “Leave my application.xml alone, I’ll manage it” and the other doesn’t?
