Out of curiosity I’d like to understand how MyEclipse starts a WebLogic instance. I’m using MyEclipse 10.7 with WebLogic 10.3.6 and it seems it doesn’t use the startWebLogic.cmd command. I really can’t understand.
    Any clue?

Ok, it appears it starts the instance directly, building the command line. Am I right?

    Ippedd,

Yes, you’re right. You can see a launch configuration by going to the preferences pages for the server, opening the nodes beneath the server and going to the Launch page. Here you can click on the Create Launch Configuration (this actually creates another “server”) and see what arguments are used. This is much easier to see with the latest release of MyEclipse where the server set up is quite different from the release you’re running (which is no longer supported).
