Can you go to Windows > Prefs > Java > Editor > Content Assist >Advanced. Check “Other Java Proposals” or click “Restore Defaults”.Attachments:

That was the problem. After I checked the Other Java Proposals the auto complete starts working.Thank you,
dganterMemberI also have the same problem – my Java autocomplete has stopped working since upgrading to 7.1.1. Javascript autocomplete does work. I have tried reinstalling from scratch with no success.
dganterMemberJust figured it out – I checked “Other Java Proposals” like above and it now works again.
