    I updated my Eclipse to 7.1.1 Build id: 7.1.1-20090310.
    The auto comlete is not working. Actuall;y the feature stoped working when I was on 7.0 also.
    Here are my seting
    I am usinnf java package explorere view
    Auto compete works for java scripts but not for java classes

    Adam,
    Can you go to Windows > Prefs > Java > Editor > Content Assist >Advanced. Check “Other Java Proposals” or click “Restore Defaults”.

    That was the problem. After I checked the Other Java Proposals the auto complete starts working.

    I also have the same problem – my Java autocomplete has stopped working since upgrading to 7.1.1. Javascript autocomplete does work. I have tried reinstalling from scratch with no success.

    Just figured it out – I checked “Other Java Proposals” like above and it now works again.
