support-swapnaModeratorsreedhar_ch,
Can you answer some questions for me?
1.Is your subscription a standard one or professional?
2.When you try to create a new web project, do you see the ‘Add Maven Support’ checkbox enabled? Please perform a re-install using pulse. Here are the steps –
a. Open Pulse (Start > Programs > Pulse > Pulse Explorer )
b. Login to pulse
c. Select “Eclipse – galileo” or relevant realm from top left hand corner dropdown
d. Select your MyEclipse profile from “My Profiles”
e. Right click on the same and click on [Re-install and run]
f. This will open a wizard which will guide you through the rest of the steps. You can go to the MyEclipse Configuration Center > Dashboard to check if the Maven Support for MyEclipse is checked in the MyEclipse Features.
Let me know how this works for you.

SreedharMemberHi Swapna,
I have Professional Subscription, i have imported the existing projects into my workspace.
To configure global maven configuration across workspace i was trying to add my settings.xml file under windows>preferences>myeclipse earlier i was able to see Maven4myEclipse now i am not able to and on each project i am not able to see maven operations option when i right click on the each project.to resolve this issue i was trying to re-intall maven support using pulse and then i was getting several issues, it is not allowing me to update or remove the softwares available.
Let me try your suggestion below and i can update how it goes meanwhile can you please let me know is it required to re-intall the MyEclipse8.5 is recommended for issue?? and i have pulse 8.6 version i guess.
Thanks for your swift response,
-Sreedhar

support-swapnaModeratorsreedhar_ch,
The ‘Reinstall then Run’ from Pulse is usually recommended when there are any dependency issues and issues during the update for the first time.
i have imported the existing projects into my workspace.
Maven is only supported for new projects. Migration of existing projects to Maven-enabled projects is not supported at this time, but may be considered for a later release.
Maven4MyEclipse brings Maven support to MyEclipse Web Projects, MyEclipse EJB Projects, and conventional Java projects.
MyEclipse Enterprise Application (EAR) Projects are not supported at this time, but should be in a future release.Hope this helps.
