I’ve installed the perforce plugin in my Eclipse 5.5 (and have done it in the past in 5.0) and had success with it immediately after installation in both cases.

Then after some short period of time (I’m thinking after a reboot), I try to make a change to a file under source control and it first prompts me for my perforce password. I enter the password and it continues to prompt me again and again for my password. I know that it’s the correct password because I can immediately login through my perforce GUI successfully.

Again this has happened on two different versions of MyEclipse. The rest of the developers in my company who only use Eclipse do not have these issues and are successfully using the plugin.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks

    Hello,

If you install Eclipse separately and run it without MyEclipse and then install the perforce plugin, and repeat your test where you enter the password and restart and try again, what happens? So basically can you try to repeat this whole process without MyEclipse installed/?

Also, could you have a co-worker try to iinstall MyEcilpse into their eclipse and just try to replicate the error. If both you can’t replicate it with vanilla eclipse and your co-worker can replicate it, then we will need to do further followup to determine the problem.

Lastly, do you have any entries that seem relevant in your eclipse error log? Window > Show View > PDE Runtime > Error log.

    Thanks
