    Hello All:

I installed the Sonar plugin for Java according to the instructions at http://dist.sonar-ide.codehaus.org/eclipse. The installation seemed to work but when I tried to configure Sonar, I could not find Sonar in any menu. Supposedly, there should have been a Sonar menu entry under Window -> Preferences. There was no entry for it. The configuration instructions that I am following can be found at http://docs.codehaus.org/display/SONAR/Configuring+Sonar+in+Eclipse. Please help!

    cbodine,

I could not replicate the issue at my end.

After following the installation instructions from the following link, Sonar preferences are present under Window > Preferences. Please take a look at the attached screenshot of sonar preferences page. Installing sonar in eclipse – http://docs.codehaus.org/display/SONAR/Installing+Sonar+in+Eclipse

    1) Can you please share your installation details from MyEclipse > Installation summary > Installation details ?
    2) Can you please check whether sonar plugin is installed in MyEclipse ? Go to Help > About MyEclipse Enterprise workbench > Installation details > Plugins and check if sonar plugin is listed.

The latest release of MyEclipse, MyEclipse 2013 (formerly known as MyEclipse 11) is now available. If you are having a licence for MyEclipse 10.x or any previous versions, then the same licence can be used for MyEclipse 2013, as our licences are time based not version based. For more information on MyEclipse 2013 and download links please take a look at this thread – https://www.genuitec.com/forums/topic/myeclipse-2013-is-now-available/
