Riyad KallaMemberWe are working on this, the integration was not completed in Milestone 2 and the issue has been filed. Thank you for bringing this to our attention.

Riyad KallaMemberChristian,
Thank you for pointing this out, I believe it was done intentionally but I will double check with the team (about the version change).July 20, 2005 at 8:16 am #233301
Shawn McDermottMemberAny idea/thoughts on when this could be fixed? We are evaluating MyEclipse and for everything but spring are very pleased. While the spring ide isn’t a showstopper, it is a very handy tool.

Scott AndersonParticipantActually, we explicitly need to provide our own versions of the spring plugins as they’ve been modified slightly to integrate cleanly with the other MyEclipse tools. We’ll be updating our version of the Spring tools to the latest release in the next build.

Any resolution on this? It’s been almost a month… I’m running Eclipse 3.1.0 with MyEclipse 4.0M2 and I have the same problem. No graph view for the config file editor.
sgtmcd, which Spring libraries are you using for your project? When you add Spring capabilities, are you choosing “Add checked Libraries to project build-path” or “Copy checked Library contents to project folder”?

Scott AndersonParticipantWe’ll be shipping an updated version in 4.0M3 in a few hours. The update site is already available.

I am choosing ‘add to build path’. Looks like m3 is coming out…..I am crossing my fingers. 🙂

Shawn McDermottMember/me is installing m3 now…….
August 15, 2005 at 10:37 am #234795
Shawn McDermottMemberI have installed m3 and must still be missing something.
The first thing i tried was ‘navigate/show in/spring beans’. I don’t have a ‘spring beans’ under show in.

Scott AndersonParticipantGuys,
A lot of enhancements/fixes were made to our Spring support in 4.0M3, which is now available. I’d highly recommend an upgrade to that. The update site is ready to go.
August 15, 2005 at 10:59 am #234802
Shawn McDermottMemberI have upgraded…..Actually, I removed myeclipse and re-installed. I left my existing eclipse installation alone. I opened my project, and the project retained the spring capabilities that I had added to the project while using 4.0M2. However, the behavior I reported at the beginning of this thread is unchanged. I can’t seem to access the bean view/bean graph. I can’t seem to follow the documentation. When it says right click project, etc….the menu’s don’t match. I don’t have the selections available for some reason.
Let me know what I need to expand on to provide more detail.
