john@cybertrace.comMemberMe too! I have basically switched to Sun Java Studio Creator because I need jsr 168 support. You just create a jsr 168 portlet, build the war and deploy. VERY nice!
On the other hand I miss eclipse 😥 The refactoring is just broken in JSC2, the code completion in just not the same, and where is my UML, XMI, etc? And they have lots of support for Spring, Hibernate, LOL.

darkarenaMemberThere are lots of Portal Containers out there and while support for these would be nice, I’d even be happy it you guys just wrapped everything in Pluto and allowed for debugging and stuff. I’m beginning to do some work on the Apache MyFaces Portal integration and would LOVE to use My Eclipse for this work instead of JDeveloper.
+1 to JSR-168

Richard PriceMemberHi,
Our project is to kick off now with JetSpeed2 and we need to create JSF/MySQL applications for it so a portlets tool would be very nice

lpcnucciMemberCount me in. We use WebLogic App Server and Vignette Portal, for whatever it’s worth.

manjeshMemberI’ve been working on a lot of Struts n EJBs…for which MyEclipse is just too good.
Now I would be working on Portlets n stuff..based on what I see in this thread, I wud definitely not want to switch to another IDE just for JSR168…that makes it (++count) 🙂

Riyad KallaMemberUnfortunately no update, there won’t be any change to this situation with the 6.0 release, but management hasn’t discussed 6.1 feature sets yet. We are looking into a few big-ticket items for 6.1, not sure what hteir plan is for portlets yet though.
