BrandonMemberThe problem was I let my license lapse, and I had to completely redo the certificates. I still do have them, but it wouldnt let me use them after that.
I have another app to upload this weekend so I will see how that goes. If it goes smooth I will know I probably need to redo the app.

BrandonMemberSo I started completely over. Deleted all the certificates and provisions. Downloaded the signing utility followed all the steps. Made a new one on the apple site, uploaded the csr, downloaded the io_dist file. Made a new app with all the ids and everything, made a new provision file for it. Built the app and tried to install in using the link and it is unable to download application, could not be installed at this time. So, this isnt a old app that expired like the last one, this is brand new.
It works fine if I do the development files, just not the distribution ones.

BrandonMemberI am officially out of ideas for this. I even created the certificates on a MAC, tried in openssl, even tried going the p12 route nothing is working.

paulDMemberOk, Just a quick question? Why are you trying to intall your app using the distribution profile?
I use the development profile to test my app on selected devices and use the distribution profile for the version i upload using application uploader. I don’t have any problems using this method. Unless your planning on releasing your app out to just selected users i would use the development profile on a device you have registered on your apple profile.
Also the times ive had the cannot install error it was because the device uiud serial number wasn’t correct in the distribution profile.
Hope that helps
Paul

BrandonMemberI am trying to upload it to the app store. It works fine in the development mode, installs, tested, etc. I now want to upload it to the app store.
Thats why I dont quite understand why its not working. I can do the development certificate and provisioning fine. But no matter what method I use for the distribution it wont accept it. This is also true for a completely new app that I have done, works in the development files but not distribution.April 29, 2013 at 9:32 am #338594
BrandonMemberWell, with still no luck I have emailed Apple Tech Support to see if they can locate the problem.

BrandonMemberFor anyone following this thread the problem still has not been resolved. My last attempt is that the only Mac I have access to is an older one, which I found out is running version 1.4 of the application uploader. I am waiting to get access to a newer system to see if this is the problem. Until then all pof my development has been stopped in all forms.

BrandonMemberOK, so after all the pain of that, it turns out that the Application Loader was returning an incorrect loader. Using version 2.5.1 of the Application loader the app uploaded just fine. Im really glad I notice it was an old version, just wish I would have found that out sooner.
